Just like Treasure Hunt Tuesdays, I’m adding a new spin on an old day of the week. This time, I’ve tackled Thursday.
My inspiration for the Thursday theme springs from the general concept of a walkabout. The idea got me thinking about how amazing it would be to walk around the internet and experience the paths that others have taken. Since we [you and I] only exist outside of this magic box, it would be really hard for us to actually go wandering around it. With that understanding, I thought it would be fun to do a twist on a walkabout and turn it into a talkabout.
What are we going to talk about? Other internet blogs, of course! It really isn’t a journey unless we are looking at things through the eyes of others, is it?
And without further ado, here is our inaugural Talkabout Thursday:
One of my favorite writers is Patrick Rothfuss. He wrote The Name of the Wind, and I fell in love with his characters and his world. Then I discovered his blog, and have been a faithful reader ever since. He brings the same humor and genuine emotion to his blog that makes The Name of the Wind such a fantastic read.
